He used his winnings from appearances on the game show Jeopardy! to pay for part of his law school education. And do you remember<a href=\"http:\/\/www.museum.tv\/eotv\/craftchrist.htm\"> Christine Craft<\/a>, the broadcast journalist fired for being, &#8220;too old, too unattractive and not deferential enough to men&#8221;? She earned a law degree from McGeorge School of Law in 1995 and continues to work as a journalist.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/WNT\/story?id=127761&amp;singlePage=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bob Woodruff,<\/a> the ABC news anchor badly wounded in Iraq, received a law degree from the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/people\/93702353\/linda-holmes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linda Holmes<\/a>, who blogs at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/blogs\/monkeysee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Monkey See<\/a>, is a recovering lawyer.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nywici.org\/matrix-monday-honoree-cynthia-mcfadden\">Cynthia McFadden<\/a>, formerly of ABC&#8217;s Primetime Live and &#8220;Nightline&#8221;, received her JD from Columbia Law in 1984. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/8301-500497_162-15204\/erin-moriarty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Erin Moriarty<\/a> is a correspondant for CBS News and that network&#8217;s &#8220;60 Minutes.&#8221; She received her law degree from Ohio State in 1977.
