Perhaps for this reason, the use of images in legal historical research is an undervalued and under-researched \u2013 if fascinating \u2013 area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This one-day conference aims to encourage the asking of questions, to reflect the growing interest and scholarship in the interdisciplinary field of law, history and visual culture. The conference offers a forum for discussion, debate and the presentation of research.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers are keen to welcome scholars from any stage in their career and, as the conference is held online, submissions are invited from all jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will construe \u2018visual culture\u2019 widely, to attract papers from a range of disciplines.
