ABC has ordered a legal drama, <em>Judgement<\/em>, from 20th Century Television and Joey Falco. The show centers on a Supreme Court nominee and explores her past, which is likely to come during Congressional hearings. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/abc-supreme-court-drama-pilot-1235274196\/\">More here from The Hollywood Reporter.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Note that we&#8217;ve seen Supreme Court tv dramas before. 2002 featured two of them, neither long-lived. Joe Mantegna starred in\u00a0<em>First Monday,<\/em> which lasted thirteen episodes. Sally Field played the main character in\u00a0<em>The Court,<\/em> which aired three times before it went on hiatus and never returned. Another series,\u00a0<em>Outlaw,<\/em> starred Jimmy Smits, as a Supreme Court Justice who resigned to pursue justice through practicing law at his own law firm.
