Sharon Bala has won the Harper Lee Prize for Legal Fiction for her first Novel The Boat People (Random House/Anchor, 2018). Before her death, Harper Lee, the author of To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman authorized the award of the annual prize.
