Some New Legal Dramas From Around the World, Now Streaming on Netflix @netflix

Are you looking for some new legal dramas to check out during the season of COVID-19? Netflix is streaming the Italian series The Trial (Il Proceso), starring Vittoria Puccini as prosecutor Elena Guerra, faced with both handling the murder case of a young victim and the possible death of her own marriage. The network is also offering Castle & Castle, a series set in Lagos, about married attorneys Remi (Dakore Akande) and Tega Castle (Richard Mofe-Damijo), who often find themselves at odds over which cases to take (he’s interested in human rights cases, she wants to pursue commercial clients). Justice, set in Abu Dhabi, features a young U.S.-trained lawyer (Fatima Al Taei) who decides to pursues a career in criminal defense instead of joining her family’s firm. Finally, there’s an entire family of legal dramas: Criminal: UK, Criminal: France, Criminal: Spain, and Criminal: Germany. All are anthology series.
