The modern conceptualisation of the absolute property right has been observed in the Two Treatises of Government by Locke. In the Commentaries of the Laws of England, Blackstone too had remarked on the characteristics of private property right. The paper critically appraises the compatibility of the establishment of private property right holding the characteristics of absoluteness. The paper follows a discursive method.
