We invite you to send your contribution and participate in GTR22 – TRENTO DAYS ON RHETORIC

RHETORIC, COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

 

The annual Conference on Rhetoric – GTR22 Trento Days on Rhetoric – will be held on May 23-24, 2022 at the University of Trento, Faculty of Law, Italy.

 

The 2022 meeting will address a range of scientific, social, policy issues around the deliberative communication and the role of rhetoric. Panels will discuss about communicating as a social practice, offering some explanations on how personal involvement is achieved, how it is possible to combine freedom and responsibility in public communication, why rhetoric is necessary and what is its relationship with argumentative practice.

The length of each paper must not exceed 15 minutes. After each presentation there will be a 5 minute discussion.

 

 

The program may be subject to variations.

The conference will take place, if possible, in the presence. In the event of limitations or difficulties due to the continuing Covid19 emergency, the Zoom platform will be used.

CFP: SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AND SELECTION PROCESS

 

The deadline for sending abstracts is April 15, 2022 and after the peer review process the final decisions will be announced by April 30, 2022.

 

Detailed information about the registration will be later available on the website of the Faculty of Law (https://www.giurisprudenza.unitn.it/22/convegni-e-seminari).

 

The abstract must be a word document and attached to an e-mail message, to be sent to federico.puppo@unitn.it no later than April 15, 2022.

 

The abstract will be subjected to a selection process whose outcome will be notified by e-mail to the Author by April 30, 2022.

 

The abstract must be written in English and must not exceed 500 words in length, including the author’s information (name, surname, title and affiliation).

 

The abstract will be evaluated in relation to its congruence with respect to the topics of the Conference and the originality of the contents.
