The Legal Humanities Association (LHA) is a new learned society. It aims to foster a community dedicated to culturalunderstandings of law. It nurtures humanities-inflected legal scholarship, seeking innovative forms of legal knowledge and analysis. The LHA will be a home for scholars, research students, and practitioners working across law, humanities, and cultural studies, and will welcome those who do not feel they have a place for their work within orthodox disciplinary scholarship or traditional law schools. While the LHA is UK-based, it is not UK-exclusive: membership is open to all who are interested, irrespective of geographic location.
